The Story

Trans-Auto AB was founded in 1968 in the south of Stockholm, Sweden by Mr. Olov Trobeck. Trans-Auto AB was at that time general agent in the Nordic region for MICO Inc. and Clark Transmission.

In 1975 the office moved from Stockholm to Södertälje.

After have become general agents for several component manufacturers during the 80's and early 90's, and to be able to serve our customers to the fullest, Trans-Auto has established two subsidiaries in Finland. Trans-Auto OY started in 1992 in Tampere and in 1998 Trans-Auto Marine OY opened in Helsinki in order to assist our marine customers.

The expantion have continued during the last few years and in 2008 T-A Vostok OOO opened in St Petersburg as a result of Trans-Auto becoming general agent for parts of our product range on the russian market.
